My Favorite Place /My favorite Room In The House /The Place you spend most of your time /My Parents Favorite Room /Best room in my house

Everyone in this world has a favorite place. Some people tend to stay at their workplaces and some people like to spend time at restaurants, but I an introvert and I mostly like to spend time at my home. I love my house and my favorite room in my house is my bedroom. My bedroom is on the first floor of my house and it is a very beautiful room.
I spend most of time in my bedroom. The first thing is that I sleep in my bedroom, so it is the place which gives me the ultimate relaxation. I also like to watch movies in my room. Some people like to watch movies in their living room but I think otherwise. I want privacy and my bedroom is the only place where I can get it. There is no noise, no disturbance. My friends also like my room and whenever they come to my house they prefer to sit in my room.
Well if you want me talk about the room; I would say that my room has all the things which a person can dream of. It has a TV, air-conditioner, bed and sofa. The interior of the room was done by my sister and she spent a lot of time decorating it in a very unique way. She is really inspired by the Mughal style so gave that kind of touch in my room which makes it quite exquisite.

I like my room but there are certain changes I would like to make in it. Firstly I am not satisfied with the size of the room. I want my room to be bigger because I would to put more stuff in it. The other change I would I like to make in my room is that I would like to put some paintings in the room. The wall looks empty and sad without paintings. I went to an exhibition recently and I was really impressed by the art collections and I am thinking about buying some stuff for my room

Describe A Statue You Have Seen-IELTS Cue Card

Describe A Statue You Have Seen / Describe About Your Favorite Statue-IELTS

Statues are artistic creations. There are different types of statues...statues of great people, statues of gods and goddesses....statues of animals...,statues of characters in stories, comics etc....statues are made of different materials- metals ,wood, plaster of Paris, ivory, ceramic, mud etc. some statues are placed in public places to remember great people and honour their contributions to the society....some on the other hand are put at public places for their artistic excellence or to beautify places like parks and museums...another place where one can see statues are churches and temples or places of religious importance. We can even see statues on coins of many countries....In the olden days statues represented positions. Like chiefs of certain tribes carried a stick with a particular statue on it ...or wore statues on their chains and so on...

But the one which comes to my mind when i think of statues is a statue of Mother Mary carrying little Jesus in her hands that's  exhibited in front of my high school in Mundakkayam. Its a lovely piece of art made of cement and painted beautifully.... when I did my high school studies , me and my friends use to go there to do prayers- especially during the exam season.....and the intensity of those prayers might be reason for that special attachment  to that statue in my mind .... and it has always helped me to calm myself down and do my exams well....Another reason for me to remember is that I saw a picture recently that is  very similar to that statue. And reminded me of my good old days..... Altogether I can definitely say that its one of the statues i think has influenced my life very positively...
